As I write this, we are already in the second full week of 2010. Don't let this be a year like every other year. Make 2010 the year that you get up, get motivated and make an impact in the world!! Live the life of your dream. 2010 is pregnant with possibilities, potential and opportunity. This is the year to leave an indelible mark on the world. Ultimately, my question to you is what are you going to do to ensure success in 2010? Don't make resolutions; make life plans. What strategic plans, goals and initiatives are you setting in motion to maximize your life? This is the year to maximize every moment of your life!! Every second of every day MUST have an assignment. You can't waste any time. Get a calendar and schedule your time accordingly. As a life coach, I am here to help you live the life of your dream in 2010. The only limitations that exists in life are the ones we place on ourselves. You are a champion of greatness. You are a force to be reckoned with. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are the hand-crafted design of the Almighty. You are pregnant with potential and possibilities. You are more powerful than you could ever imagine. Inside of you is the seed of greatness that can change the world!! I dare you to challenge yourself, stretch yourself and create the life that you want. Live beyond the limits!! Are you really living an authentic life? You are going to hear me talk a lot about the authentic life in 2010. If you aren't influencing lives and being an agent of change, you aren't really living an authentic life. You were created for significance. Change your thinking and change your life. See yourself as a trailblazer changing the world. Don't limit your potential by speaking debilitating words of doubt and unbelief. Awaken the King in you. Dream big and then wake up and make those dreams a reality. Today, is the first day of the rest of your life. All you have is the present. Why not use it to change the world? Make 2010 be a year of conquering new territories, walking out your purpose and maximizing your potential. The best is yet to come!!

Healing Rain

Hello Everybody,

As I write this, I stand at a place in my life that I have never been before. I stand whole, passionate and healed of the scars that plagued me for a great deal of time. As you look at the story of the 10 lepers, there's an interesting principle that is activated and that is the law of thanksgiving. If I am thankful even in a horrible situation, then I activate mercy and blessings in my life. While 10 were cleansed, only one leper was made whole. Only one returned to give thanks! For so long, I was like many that I now mentor bitter, broken and deeply scarred. Instead of looking for answers within, I looked at everything around me and blamed external things for my internal warfare. However, one day I was through being angry and bitter. At that point, I begin to thank God and worship Him in a way that I never had worshipped before. While 2009 has been one of the most challenging years of my life, I find peace in the fact that God's grace is sufficient. With the loss of my grandmother and a number of other pressures, I have turned to the secret place for strength in healing. There's been some tears and some pain but I find solace in the fact that my my life is able to influence so many other lives. Finally, I am at a place of wholeness in my life. What's the difference between being cleansed and being whole? Being cleansed means I have washed off the residue of my former life; however, being whole means I no longer resemble the person I once was. I am able to impact so many lives and mentor others because I chose to change the image I saw in the mirror everyday. What needs to change in your life? What are you holding onto that is hindering your ability to get to the next level? What relationships aren't healthy? What habits aren't healthy? What difference are you making in the world? What reflection in the mirror is haunting you everyday? Until you get real with yourself, you will stay imprisoned to that image. You can break free from anything that is hindering your progress. Guess what? It's never too late!! 2009 isn't over! Remember, at the beginning of the year when I asked you what was your plan for 2009? You still have time to make that vision a reality! Dream big, dream again, and don't listen to the voices of your yesterday that try to rob you of your today! It's time to live your greatest life now! Turning the Pages in Your Life

Hello Everyone,

Do you find yourself at times asking what would life be like if I did things differently? Well, 2009 is the year to stop asking what you could have, should have and would have done. I realized in my own life that I hit a brick wall, and that I could not go any further until I confronted some critical areas. I was my own toughest critic and it was preventing growth from occuring in my life. Those areas were:
1.) I cannot change what happened in the past, so I will stop looking to it to define the future.
2.) I choose to forgive those that have wronged me because they will not rob me of my life.
3.) I am not great because of what I am able to accomplish; I am great when my life leaves a legacy that speaks well after I am gone.
4.) I am sorry for not going the extra mile to make relationships work because of fear. However, I will seize every moment and embrace the meaningful relationships that God brings me in the future.
5.) I am sorry for not seizing the opportunities allotted in the past, but from now on I will embrace every opportunity with passion and purpose.
6.) I am sorry for allowing fear to rob me of the great life. I will not live a life of fear; but of passion and destiny.
7.) I accept who I am and I will not allow the opinions of others to alter my identity.
8.) I will make a difference in the lives you allow me to touch. Mistakes don't disqualify me from greatness.
9.) I will live life with integrity and raise the standard among my generation.
10.) I will conquer the man in the mirror and stop allowing my opinion of myself to hinder me from purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11 states that God knows the plans He has for our lives. Plans of good and not of evil; to give us a hope and an expected end. With that said, stop allowing your past failures to obviate future success. Today, live life from the realm of limitless possibilities, and stop limiting your dreams and your calling. I am discovering this truth everyday. I am finally at a point of liberation. Turn the pages off your life and start a new chapter!! 2009 is the year to live your greatest life now!! Eliminate the glass ceilingthat is limiting your greatness!!

Guilt's Paralysis

What is guilt? Is it simply carrying condemnation for some error committed in ones life. Or is is holding resentment because of something that has happened in your life? Or is it deeper than that? Over the course of the last six years, I have done some serious soul searching, and this was one of the biggest obstacles to me living the great life!! In fact, it seemed that for every step I took forward; I was forced to take three gargantuan steps back. Why was this occurring? It was occurring because I had allowed the wrong decisions of my past to define the success of my future. Don't let 2009 be a year where you walk around with regret, shame and condemnation over the past failures of your life. Use your failures as a stepping stone into greatness. While we often find it easy to forgive those who have wronged us and disparaged us; it is often a more difficult task to forgive ourselves It has taken me over twenty years to discover that principle. I blamed myself to the point of no end. I should have been more intelligent, I should have prayed more, studied more, etc. However, one day I had an epiphany, and I realized that I am not perfect and I am not superhuman. We are deeply flawed individuals and the only way we will ever grow is through trial-and-error. At the same time, we must learn the lessons that God and life are trying teach us, so that we don't end up in a monotonous cycle of failure. You were born to win!! Stop allowing the paralysis of guilt to rob you of your life. Forgive yourself today!! Scream, cry, write in a diary or whatever else you have to do to get free!! Most importantly, let 2009 be the year that you get all the way free. Through your transparency the lives of others are impacted!! Others gain wisdom from your failure and it liberates you because it teaches that failure is a birthplace for change!! It's not an easy process but it's necessary if you ever want to reach greatness and live your greatest life!! With that said, make 2009 your greatest year yet, and take time to reflect on why you are holding on to your failures. I want you to set aside a time of reflection and ask yourself the following questions:
1.) What did I do that was so horrible that I refuse to forgiven myself?
2.) Vocalize verbally what you did so that the failure loses its power over you.
3.) Write down three to five lessons that your failure has taught you.
4.) How will you use this failure to impact lives?
Write all of this down and reflect on your answers carefully so you can take back your life in 2009!! It's time to live your greatest life now!!

Hello Everyone,

This is the year to live your greatest life now!! Set goals, work assiduously to achieve them and don't let anything or anybody get in your way. What's standing between you and your dreams. I want you to follow these prescribed steps to live your greatest life in 2009!!
1.) Take personal time and reflect on what's really important to you.
2.) Set goals that you can accomplish in a reasonable time span. Be realistic and set goals that you know can be achieved.
3.) Assess who is and isn't apart of your destiny. This is the year to get rid of baggage and throw away the trash so you can embrace your treasures. Don't carry dead weight and choose to live a life of gratitude and forgiveness.
4.) Measure how much time you spend on your goals. This will show you how serious you are about living your greatest life in 2009!!
5.) Spend time communicating with God to get His direction and insight for your life.
6.) Invest in yourself and your dreams. Preparation is never wasted time. Research the career you want, your business, etc.
7.) Read more books. It has been said that millionaires read at least one book a month. Reading literature is a great way to expand your mind and gain new insights.
8.) Impact lives whether you do it in a big way or a small way. The world should be a better place because of you.
9.) Let love radiate from the core of your being. Love is a universal language. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Spend time developing a heart for the people you lead.
10.) Maximize the moments of your life. Get the maximum use out of your life in 2009!! Seize every opportunity, maximize your time, talents and resources.
Well, that's my prescribed plan for living your best life in 2009!! Live life like NO one else this year and with no regrets. I want you to get to the end of this year and say that you maximized every opportunity and that you have no regrets. Know that you are loved, greatness lives in you today and I am determined to help you live your dreams in 2009!!
